We have had a strong British and European presence on this forum almost from the beginning.

This is the largest and most active 300 forum on the web. Our databases contain just about anything you need or want to know about our cars. And - if you can't find it there - just ask! Members really help each other out on this board.

The original forum software was very old with many "homemade" patches coded in. In the past, attempts to bring new features online for members has caused problems with current functions. We are going through a major upgrade and purging out the demons so we can bring you powerful features going into the future.

The speed issue is temporary and affects certain members. People are working very hard to resolve it. The way I see it, if you are having speed problems, let us know and as John mentioned, we need specific members to help us with the testing. Or, of course, you can browse other forums.

One option that is not open, is to log on here and try to recruit fellow members to leave this forum, as a group, to go elsewhere. That is really biting the hand that feeds you. Kinda like going into the office where you work and trying to organize your mates to resign and go work for the competition. Then, if that brainstorm doesn't work out for you 3 months down the road, or you need help from the former group, where are you then?

It has been only six days since the upgrade went in - many issues have already been resolved. The remaining errant speed issues will be tracked down and exorcised.

Thanks for the tip. This does seem to offer some improvement, although not faster than before upgrade.

Rest assured this is being given top priority to sort out and a tech is working on it right now. I have complete faith he'll come to the bottom of this, so just hang in there!!!

How are ya! Sure, but my knowledge is limited. It's a plug in called vBExperience. The activity is pretty much self-explanatory, but the rest is based on a ranking structure for threads, posts, views, attachments and a whole host of other things. Other than that, can't really help you much. This is just one of the improvements, but first they had to upgrade the software. Things really are moving though.

Mr. i started a thread on the vBExperience here - http://www.300cforums.com/forums/new...ats-moved.html
