Sorry, I don't know, but I imagine if there were any problems or suggestions the tech will be reporting back to us so we can foreward it on to everyone.

Hey, thanks for being part of the solution, at least that's the aim. Thanks for not giving up too!!!

still very slow for me, about 8 seconds each time for the page to load, whilst i was staring at the white pages, i noticed that down the bottom left, where is says waiting for etc etc, it seems to be waiting for all the ad links to load.

i don't know a lot about websites, but as a suggestion, maybe you could switch of the ads, if that makes all the difference, find a solution to the problem, then re-introduce the ads, we don't really look at them anyway!!

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that we are listening and we are aware of the issues that some of you are facing. We have plans for making some changes and modifications to the forum that should ease the loading woes and hopefully prevent the "white page" loading issue that IE is doing. Please be patient these things do take time.

For everyone that sent me an httpwatch log, thank you, I don't have time to individually respond to all of you. The logs are to give me a baseline of what the forum is like for everyone that is browsing and the fixes I would be making will effect everyone, they won't be fixes specific to one user or another. Im looking to lower the overall load time of the page for everyone and therefore taking a less personal approach to each log is nessecary.

The change required to restore the forum to correct operating speed is not rocket science and doesn't require specialist "techs" - get rid of the google ads and all will be back to normal.
No point in fudging things with alterations and modifications, just remove the ads, at least from all pages except the main forum page. I think most people would settle for that - a slow loading main page, but once you're "in", normal service resumed.
