Latest mygig update

I thought I would put a link on here in case your like me and don't venture out of the euro section much.
NEW RER 2.043 Update

The latest update 2.043 is now available to download and install in your mygig. The improvements to the Sat Nav are great, giving you a much cleaner screen. It also makes it more compatible with newer phones although they still haven't got my nokia 5800 sorted out.

Thanks! I've done mine although there's no discernible difference from 2.042.

2.042 was a beta version complete with bugs/issues and was never an official release. 2.043 is going to be an official release version and is a big improvement over the versions currently being offered by Chrysler UK dealers.

I know - but I've only encountered one problem with 2.042 where it played a CD at the wrong pitch! Ejecting and re-loading got it back to normal pitch.

All we have to hope for now is some newer maps!

I downloaded both the rar and iso file a few days ago and got the well known CRC error from the zip file. Haven't done anything with the iso yet, so I don't know if that's corrupt or not.

One thing I haven't been able to find is the list of fixes for 2.043. This has always been available for all other revisions. I've done a lot of reading and it seems no one has answered that yet. For now 2.042 is working fine for me.

You probably notice a world of difference coming from your update Bob. Me, I'm not so sure, but I'll probably do this update too.

Hi Bernie. I really do like it. I went from 9.807 to 2.043 and it works GREAT! I like the full screen button on the map. I did have to re-pair my phones after installing it. I never did have to do that on any of the older updates. Regards, Bob.
