HEMI boys only question - EGR

My EGR is currently switched off, which I did before my Predator was nicked.

If I took it off and replaced with it some Billet Technology blanking plates, would I still get through the MOT?

yes you will,I've had mine turned off for years and I still get zero emmisions and a perfect 1.00 lambda

In the EGR off bit,lol,it's in their somewhere,it might be not in yours depending on what version you have loaded,mines 9vr04(I think,lol)well its 9vr0 something,lol

I'm probably gonna order the blanking plates then.
My EGR is actually broken, hence why I switched it off with my Predator.

This is so, so, nice. To talk to like-minded people, and not those buying for economy, and then debadging!!!
I get fed-up visiting this section when most of it is to do with penny-pinching oil-burners.
We should have our own section.

dont buy a blanking plate,make one,thats what we do,if its switched off just leave it alone,it aint going anywhere,lol

I've just checked my Predator and I don't have the EGR option.

I did update the tool to the latest crom file and boy is it faster to backup and load tunes!

I noticed it now has a Dyno mode too, going to go and read up on that as I'm off to Janspeed in Salisbury next Saturday for a couple of Dyno runs and a tour around their factory.

I'm surprised. I do seem to remember that it was buried down a couple of menus, but as I dont currently have one, I can't confirm.
The EGSS menu rings a bell, but I could be way off beam there. Ray might be able to help.

Ray, you seem to mis-judged my engineering skills and facilities.

For a few dollars the blanking plates look cool, I think.

Must get a catch can though, the inside of my throttle body and manifold are absolutely caked! I'll post a pic later.
