Anyone (as per Chills post)?

This post of mine from 22/7/09 explains how I stopped the oil leaking from the turbo inlet pipe and 4 month on it is still dry,If you remove the pipe and inspect the seal arrangement it is obviouse what a crap design it is that can be cured with a bit of oil resistant silicon sealant.
I could not figure out how to link to this post so I copied and pasted it

Posts: 34 I rang the dealer today he had none in stock and three on order from june and does not know when they will be in the country so i decided to try a diy cure,
I removed the pipe and discovered that the oil is leaking around the outside of the rubber seal and dripping through the slots in the plastic pipe under the hose clip,
I removed the seal and cleaned everything up with meths including the oil spill below the pipe and then refitted the seal to the pipe with a bead of silicone at the back of the seal to prevent oil passing between the seal and the plastic pipe I also put silicone in the slots in the pipe out side of the seal just in case.
I also cleaned up the seal on the pcv hose and put a bead of silicone around that also.
I should point out that no silicone is used internally in the air flow to get sucked into the engine.
Hopefully this repair will stop the oil leak and preserve the swirl motor for a while,Fingers crossed.
Alan.
