You can get cheap ones of ebay for £15 or so ( most cheap one will be the same )

i has one for my old car and they work well for the price -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Diagnostic...item1c16c14a88

or get an emotion tuner which comes with the benifit of 270bhp and a code reader but will cost a lot more

This may sound nutty, but check this Android app out - Android Phone OBDII App - TorqueScan.

I went the extra mile and spent about £70 UK on one. I have had the cheap ones before, and also have a Bluetooth one that I used on the Android (but have an iPhone now).

I am glad I spent the extra. It does loads more than the cheap one did, and has worked on every car I have tried it on.

Paid for itself in savings from garage diagnostics already (on the wife's car!)

I would post a link to one like it on eBay but not sure if this forum allows that.

On the mobile now so tricky to copy and paste the URL. Here is an item number though of the exact same one I bought (not from the exact same seller though)

160633545370

I am pleased with it, and it works fine on my car (2007 crd)

Tried on various other makes and manufacturer cars and worked on all of them.

Pis$ easy to use !

A bit weird, but this item contains the following caveat:
*Note: This scanner is not compatible with most Diesel powered vehicles and with hybrid cars.
