Ouch, that's nasty. Be interesting to see what I get quoted when I try them in April, well, assuming the Topcashback refund is still on offer.

Enjoy while you can, as the EU will soon be requiring your contribution to the boy-racers' fund!

£325 from More Th>n, (August). It can be difficult to make comparisons with other drivers as there are so many variables; eg postcode, business use, XS. My policy is for social, domestic and pleasure, with an XS of £350. However, what counts against me is my age (74); some insurers refuse to quote because of this. My daughter is on the policy (wife doesn't drive) and this provides a useful discount.

I think I paid £450 ish. I bet it's cheaper to insure a standard SRT8 than it is a modded CRD.

keat try getting a quote from Adrian Flux. They always quote me some stupid amount but I think they charge Gismo about 2p fully comp with any mods he cares to fit. (No I'm not bitter )

Did mine with LV last April. They seem to be very competetive with 300c's They came up with the best quote same age as you max NCB £358 for Group 20 SRT8 But they wouldnt insure me on er indoors Focus ST unless we have a tracker fitted. So had to go with Esure (the cheapest on the Focus) and no tracker. Well i was at it i asked Esure for a quote on the SRT8 answer?? we dont insure them sir!! Weird lot these insurance companys.
