Yes sounds like it J_LI . It might be worth popping in to the dealers if you're close and getting a price and part no so we could compare. This is what they look like

I'll start by saying I'll have some (price dependent!).

For those of you with 2007 & earlier cars, take into account yours will die of old age in the not too distant future anyway! (irreplaceable batteries)

I had a reply and Bartec say we should be able to get them direct from Schrader in Coventry. I have contacted their sales dept and asked about price and availability.

I've just spotted this info for the snap in valves as used on the sensors on the Schrader site what do you all make of this bearing in mind these sensors are listed for Challengers /Chargers /new 300s etc as standard equipment "Max speed rating 115 mph" ?.Hey? I know you dont drive at this speed everyday but surely they would be good above this. I would feel more confident with these than the old alloy ones. What are they saying if you get to 116mph they'll fail i cant see how a rubber valve can be speed rated but what do i know. I give up, these bl##dy sensors are doing my head in lol.

is it for the yank market though? as I remember that their cars are/were limited due to the speed rating of the tyres they came fitted with from new,maybe it's the same with these valves...a bit of @ss covering maybe??

My 2008 here in Australia had the metal Valves then I updated to the 2010 300c it has the Rubber valves I am not sure but! ,I think our TMPS Valves run 433MHZ the same as the UK. From what I have read all the new models 2011 up even in the USA now run 433MHZ as well in stead of the 317Mhz, about time these were made too be universal around the world to save a lot of worry lol. I have ordered a new set of Foose Black Legend SS wheels in 20 x 9 to replace my Leaxani LSS10 22x 10 and 22x9 wheels that I have had on both cars. So I bought a new set of 4 TPMS Valves on ebay shop ( Wheel1 x) for $90.90 AUD posted to Australia.A great pricee as I saved heaps, the dealers wanted $180.00 AUD each.

Yeah you could be right. I cant see how you can speed rate a tyre valve for example if you fitted one in an 18" rim they would be going round a lot faster than in a 20" rim at 115mph wouldnt they or am i being a bit thick

Wheel speed (number of revolutions) would be the same for a 18 and 20 inch rim the rolling circumference is the same, or very near.
But the speed of the valve passing the pick up would be greater with a larger wheel, because the radius would be greater

Maybe its the centrifugal force thats the problem, crushing or deforming the new type rubber valve at speed


(I used to drag race a bike that used to let its own rear tyre down at speed! Until I found that the valve stem would bend over with the centrifugal force and let the air out.....I changed it for a shorter stemmed valve)
