one of my mates go an old recipe from an old dear it included currants when it was ready it looked like a pint of light smelled like cider went down like whisky and you could light fires with it. those were the days lol

Just had some Hornsby's Hard Cider today. Much better than Strongbow!

I'm in the States and I just tried a cidar called Angry Orchard produced by Sam Adams. I thought it wasn't half bad!

Every year we have a family cider making party. Last year we managed to press over a 1000 UK gallons. Unfortunately, this year was half that because of the poor apple harvest.

With the addition of sugar, ends up around 10.5 to 12.5% although the 12.5% stuff isn't as drinkable.
