What if someone "uninvented" the 300C?

OK, today's silly question - God forbid, but what if the 300C didn't exist - what would you be driving instead?

My starter for 10 - either an older, higher mileage Mercedes-Benz CLS, (a bit cheesy, but I do really like them) or a VW Phaeton maybe... have you seen the value of those 2nd hand... Although I nearly went for a Land Rover Discovery...

Actually, scrub that, I'd buy an old 1990's Bentley Mulsanne 'cos maybe people would think it was a Chrysler!

How can I have a Carbon "Footprint" when I drive everywhere?

Probably an S type just for its practicality, not for its looks (though the sport with its colour coded grill isnt so ugly,) I did quite fancy a 7 series too

For me.. it came down to 5 cars

Boxster S... Not practical having 2 kids
Range Rover... Couldn't justify spending 16k on a 5 year old car
300c... Always liked the look of it, affordable and practical

911... Well I can dream can't I
Murciélago... Driven one, drives like a bag of cr4p......................... not
