2 Tone Design Concept - what do you think?

Due to - uh - recent circumstances, I'm toying with the idea of a classic 2 Tone paint job. Silver Steel metallic side panel on top of Brilliant Black. The photo below is a bad photochop. The final product would have a black pinstripe just inside the outer border of the silver steel. Below is a picture of a Maybach that has copied my brilliant design.

Opinions, anyone?

I appreciate a two tone paint scheme if the colors and design are harmonious. Taking the silver over the front fender does'nt do it for me. Perhaps something simular to a late 50's vette? Most two tone 300's I've seen so far are abrasive to look at, however done right it could be stunning. Best wishes on your repairs and I look forward to you next track excursion.
