Dubster, painting them would be your best bet IMO. I wouldn't apply tint film on them (people have and had great results, but in the long run, the flim might peel off). If you want, you can purchase extra sidemarker lens's (like $30) and shipped them out to one of our sponsers (Avon Customs wheels*) and paint tint them or color match em (color matching makes them look invisable) . He will apply clear coat on top of them as well so make them look real slick, shiny and durable!
As for removal, it's the same process of changing your foglamps. You can go underneath and loosen the 1/4" nut(I thing it was ) that's holding it-unclip, and your done! Driverside is a PITA, remove the air box silencer or your knuckels will pay!!

I have tint film on it and very inexpensive.
Its been on there for quite some time and it stayed on while i was driving through the 2 foot blizard last week.
Its also alot easier. Just measure cut and place instead of taking off the skirt/bumper unscrewing, waiting to dry, leaving your car without markers for a day or two and reinstalling them.
Just my thought.
Let us know how it turns out.

Happy motoring!
Thats a cover.
BTW, can the light go through it or do you lose that feature.
I may get it in Brilliant Black to make it as if my side marker is tinted.

Just got mine in from Avon Custom Wheels. I ordered an extra set from ACW and had them paint them in there dark tint. It was worth it to just order the whole thing from them rather than take yours out, wait a few days and the install them. It cost 85 dollars and they look awesome. Will probably install them tonite.

Its 85 dollars for new sidemarkers shipped and painted NOT tinted. Like I said I ordered new sidemarkers. I think they will paint them for 25 dollars plus shipping if you want to remove yours and send them to ACW. And the painted sidemarkers look a lot nicer than any tinted ones I have ever seen.

Hey KC, was it non-transparent or transparent paint ACW used on your side markers? Did you leave your bulb in as well? I agree, pianting always looks better than tint. I am painting mine, OEM non-transparent silver steel. I will leave my bulb out. If they can't see me coming with the HID headlights and PIAA HID fog lights, by the time they were to see my marker light, it will be too late, lol. I did the same thing on my 99 VW Beetle, I painted the rear red marker lights OEM bright blue.
