Any Regrets?

I have already ordered my 300c to be built Feels good just to say that.
I still have time to change or add to my options. Here is the list of what I have so far.

1.NAV & SoundII
2.Protection Group

I want to upgrade my headlight, and the the other option I am considering is the moon roof, all your thoughts or opinons are appreciated, are these upgrade really worth it. Please save the "it's a personly decision comment". I'm looking to see if any one here regrets spending more than they had to for a option that is not needed or used.

Thanks

The HID headlights are worth the cost and more. I would give up every other option before doing without them. The Sirrus radio is well worth the price if it still comes with one year free service. I bought mine off the lot and it did not have Sirrus. The biggest advantage of the sound groupII is that it will play Mp3s and you can fit well over 500 songs on five discs.
Get the HIDs, you will be glad you did.
I never use the moonroof and would not miss it if it wasn't on the car.

I dont know. Having the moon roof sure makes the car lighter during the day. I drive with the shade open all the time. Maybe I am just losing my eye sight.

I agree. HIDs are great and you will enjoy the sound system. Barry Manilow singing Mandy on Sirius Love channel never sounded so sweet!

I love the HIDs. Really is a noticable difference. All I listen to now is Sirius, although it cuts out under overpasses and large overhanging trees. Also really enjoy the Uconnect. I find the backup sensor useful too, like when I'm backing out of a tight parking space. I'm glad I got the side curtain bags, but I hope I never need them.

I didn't get the moonroof, I pretty much run the AC all the time, although our weather is perfect for open window driving this time of year. I don't like having the sun beating down on me. I got the wood trim, but even though I ordered it, I wouldn't notice it if it was turtleshell. I didn't get the Nav, and I regret that a little. However, there are nice aftermarket ones that I can use in multiple cars if I really want one.

Thanks for the advice, I already sent a email to my sales agent to add the HID, and the moon roof OUCH! Something about paying almost $1000.00 for a hole in the roof bothers me. I'm sure I'll get over it soon as I get it here.

Thanks,

D

I have all the options except Sirius and U-Connect...for the money, I would have added them both - if it's not too late, get em all!

I got everything but smokers group. I don't smoke and don't want anyone to smoke.

I have a bluetooth phone so I can't wait to use the UConnect.

shipped on Wed of this week!

I wish I had the Sirrius, U-Connect maybe nice but I dont miss having it, Wood trim is a wast for my money. With the wood Trim think about it. The "C" is the ONLY model with Tortiose Shell. On Touring and limited the wood is an option but the Tortiose Shell is uniqe and unavailable on any other car. The wood would be worth it if you were not getting the "C". Get all the options except the wood. I LOVE the moon roof, nav, SGII, Protection Package and most of all ...the HEMI.

Welcome to the forum! Here's my $.02:

Adore HID's, Uconnect and NAV; would not be without protection group; mine (off the lot) had smoker's group, it's good for the extra outlets anyway; the heated seats are nice but only used once so far (the season is young); no moonroof and don't care, I am a freak about squeaks, rattles and windnoise and the moonroof is a common source for them; also didn't have Sirius - although I wanted it, in some ways I don't regret it as I don't like the antenna messing with the 'look' (but I may break down eventually).

Whatever you do, or do not add in options, one thing is certain, you are adding a helluva car to your stables, ENJOY!!!

Thanks all,

I settled on a doing away with the moon roof and keeping the HID. I’m sure my sales agent is tired of all my emails by now :o . I had a moon roof on a 91 Gallant; I know I won’t regret not paying almost $1,000.00 for the moon roof. My Firebird options go as far as power windows and power door locks. The 300c’s standard options alone are leaps and bounds beyond a 94 Firebird! I'll save that money for a nice road trip or some new tires?

The 300c is the car I have been waiting a long time for. Finally an American made car I can feel good about driving. I have been driving a Firebird now going on 7 years now. I'm at the age where it would be nice to have an affordable American luxury car with trunk space and passenger room, with out giving up the power of a 5.7 V8

This car was built for me. Ok, maybe not... I’m sure I will enjoy this car for many years to come.
