Type of bulb for 300C?

Does anyone know what type of bulb the 300C has so I know what type of HID conversion kit i should buy? If it's a 9006 or 9007?

The 300C Hemi has a hard to find low beam bulb called 9006XS. Not the same as the 9006. You will not find a conversion for the 9006XS.

I just bought the sylvania silverstar highs and lows. The high beams have a 90 degree connector, while the low beam has a straight connector. I found them at the auto barn web sight for $94. with tax and shipping.

Dont you hate new versions of light bulbs I had the same problem with my JDM projectors for the Mazda, low beam was H3C, not sold in the US until recently.

Don't worry, it won't be long before someone makes a modified kit for the low beam.

Foam... do you mind taking a picture of your high beam maybe one original and one replacement? I must say witht he HID, its sucks flashing the yellow highs...

I purchased a set of 9006 McCulloch hella hid kit and for some reason the hid kits dont agree with my car, I had to install rellays and then they still flickered because appearantly the 300c's give out only 9volts to the light bulbs and when it goes slightly bellow that it is going to flicker... The only way around this problem was to install a low voltage relay which i guess converts the 9v to a 12v...

They were shipped today ups, may take 5-7 days to get them. When they come in I'll give it a try, haven't posted a picture yet but it's time to learn!!!

Got the silverstars in tonight, 7:15 PM U.P.S delivery. I put the passenger side in, both high and low beams. No problems with the installation. But I learned that if you drop the little blue clip in the engine compartment at night, it can be a pain to find!. I only did one side so that I could turn them on to see as well as take pictures of the difference. As luck would have it my batteries were dead in the camera. I will try again tomorrow night. I will say this, Both high and low beams are whiter then stock bulbs.
The jury is still out as far as being able to see better with them. I drove around with them in the passenger side, and stock on the other. Can not make a judgement yet I'll have to put both sides in.

I did the silver stars about 1000 miles ago...Contrary to what some others have said--I am still very disappointed with headlights---sometimes I can't even see in front of me---(also had alignment adjusted)
