Startech Grill for the USA

Hello folks

there seem to be quite a few of you who would like to have a Startech grill as featured on a lot of the British cars

but you are having difficulty getting hold of one.

My local dealer tells me that he would be happy to supply anyone in the US or Canada with a Startech grill and just to give him a call to get an idea of prices / shipping.

Just a quick word of warning though - parts / accessories are quite a bit more expensive on this side of the Atlantic (mabye ask Robert if VAT still has to be applied as the item is being exported, if not that will save you a few dollars) and that whilst the grill does look splendid, it is chromed plastic, NOT a metal grill (Just like they are on Bentleys !)

The pictures don't do it full justice.

If you are interested, here are the details

Robert Ure
E.S Hartley Ltd
0044 1539 822450
info@eshartleygroup.co.uk

if you're curious, they usually have some exotica available at www.eshartleygroup.co.uk.

Nice one, I'm glad that I could help.

The people at ES Hartley are very good and have looked after me superbly, it's good that I can put some business there way.

I went to see Robert yesterday and he told me that they've already sent some Startech grilles to America / Canada and that they had some more to send over this week.

I'm organising Europes first 300C meet and greet and E.S Hartleys is one of the places that we are stopping at for a brew and some biccies, as I said before they are nice people.

I emaiuled hiom an received a response in 2 days.. to help out heres what i was told:

Thanks for your enquiry regarding the Startech Grille for the 300c , i can confirm we would be able to ship to you in the states for a price of $554 ( £315 ) this price includes shipping costs. This calculation is based on todays £ to $ exchange rate , maybe advisable to check what exchange rate your credit card supplier is offering at the moment , we would charge £315 to your credit card and then your card supplier would recalculate back into dollars.

As regards fitting, it is a straight swap no drilling is involved.

The startech grille is proving to be very popular here in the UK with 300c customers , it is a must have purchase for most of our 300c customers.

If you have any further queries or questions, please feel free to contact me

Regards

Chris Haggas

Yes, the grille does come with a Chrysler Wing .

As regards ordering we would need credit card details which can either be e-mailed , phoned (44 1539 822500) or faxed (44 1539 822480). Once payment is received your grille would be dispatched via ANC worldwide.

Regards

thats restored some of my faith in Hartleys.

In all of my dealings with them they have been really good, which is why I was happy to recommend them.

They are looking after us for a litle while at Europes First 300C meeting up on Sunday 16th July that I have organised - I'll try and have a quiet word in someones ear for the other people.
