So far I am liking them

Will upgrade to HID's in the future, but unsure which ones just yet. So these will work for now
There are many supporting vendors that can help you with quality HID kits when the time comes.. Xenon Depot, Advanced Automotive Concepts and Stealth Auto just to nam a few. I'm running Xenon Depot's 6500K HID kit and love the results compared to stadard halogen bulbs. The light out put is incredible .

Thanks. Fogs- Xenon 9005 65W will be the closet color match to the SRT headlight. I'm also changing the amber side markers to clear. What bulbs?

Question

it has been said once it has been said twice and I will say it agian, Perfect Write up Bro.

We all respect the time and effort you have spent on this subject.

My car is a 300C and I want to change the fog lights to match the colour of the HiD headlights plus for safety reasons still have the brightest long range view (from the fog lights).
From reading till my eyes Bled, it seems as I should go with the Silverstar ultra or give up the long range view and go with Xenon 9005 65W for great colour match.

before reading this thread I was set on getting either the Luminics 9005 Pure Blue Ultra white bulbs 8000K or the PIAA-P9000 ring fog lights

Now, here is my question;

Forget about the cost, which bulbs should I put in my fog lights period?

Ok quick question.... I need to replace my high beams. I want them to match my new fogs and my hids. I also want to replace the amber bulb that works for the blinker. Dont know what these two bulbs are, what I need, or as you see how to really ask what I need. Any help would be appreciated...

okay, Black Angus...

i have super white fogs, and just ordered chrome frosted side marker (bulb 194), chrome to amber high beam and tail turn signal (both bulb 3157), and a couple extra 9005 super white fogs all under $30 from superlumination.com i should get them sometime next week, and i'll show how they turned out. for the all-non-amber look...

Some folks have been wondering if the Silverstar Ultra is worth the extra money - I guess they didn't want to weed through this thread. The answer, in a nutshell, is no - the Silverstar Ultra's are generally priced $10-$20 more than comparable lights, including the GE Nighthawk. Not only did the Nighthawk look brighter to me, but the light meter proved it:

This is no diss to the Silverstar Ultra or those that bought 'em. It is a very good light bulb and certainly brighter than stock (in the case of the fogs, almost double). They just aren't as bright as the GE Nighthawks and cost more to boot. Just trying to save you guys (and gals) a few bucks and get you the best light available for the price...

still an excellent write-up! thx... gonna go with that $80 hid kit for my fogs now from ebay to achieve the brightness and color that i want... but, it's good to know for the stock bulbs that the GE's are the brightest... i think i go for the blue look though more, and for now, i'm staying with my xenons...

thx again for the info... how are the GE's when compared to xenons?
