Anyone rolling 20s? Seems the gang's all sold on 22s. I'm not.

Just wondering who's got a line on any new styles in 20" for this car. So far, the market is pretty thin on options.

Thanks!

TSW Carlton, TSW Heaven Seven , TSW zandvoort, Veloche Verde, There are plenty available it all comes down to personal preference. 20's will ride slightly better and stop alot quicker then the heavier 22. The 22's ride will be a little less desireable but will hook up a little better than the 20's. It all comes down to personal preference in the end. The major thing with the 22's are the way they look.

I'm a fan of 20's also. I'd love to see BBS in 20's, multispoke. Strong, light and stylin. Anyone know if BBS makes shoes for the 300C? I've searched and can't seem to find them.

Bigwheels have BBS that will fit the 300C in 18's, but not in 20's

I've done a LOT of research on all the wheel sites out there, and aside from only a couple meeting my personal taste (3-piece forged $$$$$...figures!), it seems many of the suggested options for the car should work on paper but haven't been test-fitted. I would only buy (mail order) a wheel/tire combo that has been actually put on the car and checked for clearance and all.

On another note, lest we forget, as the pounds add up in plus size rims...especially some of the portly cast chrome ones...there can be a significant performance hit in both stopping and going. Old news, I'm sure, but always worth mentioning.

BBS in 19" are on the site, but they are $$$$. Also OZ wheels are listed on the site also expensive. Both should offer light weight options.

Mag good point on the weight comment. For people seriously looking at adding larger wheels to the 300C weight of a new rim should be considered.

That's why I'm a big fan of OZ and BBS. In some plus sizes they are actually lighter than the wheel they replace! Of course they cost an arm and a leg, but I think they're worth it.

Plus a black 300C, with GunMetal or polished BBS 19 wheels would really look slick. Sophisticated, clean, executive and polished. I'm going to check them out now!

For a wheel novice, what are some well made wheel brands that won't cost an arm and a leg? I've heard of BBS and thats about it. I'm looking at +1, +2 max for my C. Of course my C has to be built first.

IMHO, the 22's on a car is for a Show Car. I don't think they will be very good on a daily driver in the long rum. Since I plan on driving my car in every situation I would never ever consider a 22" rim. The car looks nice in stock rims, will look even better in Dubs, but the 22" is really overdoing it! Too much of a good thing!

My E55 came in 18" and I change them to another set of 18's and every time I drive it in the city I am glad as hell I did not go with 19" and have to drive gingerly in order to save a set of rims.
