New bulbs= Fast Blinkers

Today I changed the front amber blinker bulbs with silvania silverstar bulbs that are supposed to not show amber(they do) and the rear tail light blinker bulbs with a red cluster of l.e.d bulbs, I have sonar l.e.d tail lights, does anybody know why both blinkers would blink faster after installation?
Thanks.

I'm no expert but i know that should the system detect a blown bulb, the blinkers blink faster. (we had a safety recall to enable this over here and in europe) my guess would be that the system can't detect one of the bulbs? i know it sounds strange but i'm sure it happens. check the connections of the bulbs and that all of them light up.

LED bulbs have no resistance unlike regular bulbs so the car makes them blink fast to alert you that a bulb (regular one that is, is out). You can add or splice resistors or just remove the LED bulbs and go back to regular ones or just ignore the fast blinking signals like me!

they look great and truely glow amber and have no issues like that.

Yeah, mine did/do this too. I PM'd Meister since he is the best help anyone could ever imagine. He said his does it too. That was good enough for me. At first I didn't like it, now I kind of do.

I believe you may have put one of the bulbs in backwards. I had the same issue, found which bulb looked like it was NOT working, even though new, flipped it around and VOILA, no more rapid blinking...
