The Chrysler Wing Emblem on Trunk

For anyone who has taken the wing emblem off of the trunk how far apart are the holes that are drilled in behind it?

Any pics floating around of what it looks like with the emblem off?

Thanks in advance!!!

Here is a picture before the holes were filled. I put electrical tape over each hole, until I could get to my buddies shop to have them welded. Make sure you know a quality aluminum welder. The hood and trunk lid are both aluminum.

The trunk lid holes were roughed up to get to the bare surface.

I only have a shot of my friend doing the hoods windshield washer holes.

Then he is smoothing it out and getting it ready for me to take to my painter.

Wut up Bro. Funny you mention surgery. This is the link to the thread I posted on this mod, a while back.

The 07's are still aluminum, the 08's will still have the aluminum hood. Just the new style 08 decklid(trunk), will be steel.

Here's how I found out the trunk deck was aluminum... When we took out used '05 300C out for a test drive the dealer put the magnetic license on the top of the fender (rear quarter panel)... and of course as we approached speed it began to vibrate and rattle. So I get out and see where the license was placed and said "Huh?" So I tried to reposition it somewhere on the back of the trunk lid... DOH! Nothing to magnetically hold it! So we ended up placing it in the car on the back window deck so it remained visible from behind.
