Another Debadged Trunk Lid

I decided to remove the AWD and 300c emblems from my trunk lid today. I went with the method of heating up the emblems, peeling them off, using WD 40 to get the excess adhesive off the lid, then washed it. Looks great, and makes a big diff in my opinion. Of course this thread is useless without pics, so i snapped a few:

I also temporarily relocated the 300c badge:

Did you have to add more of the 3m tape to the emblem so it would stick on the inside of the car?

Nope, there was enough 3m tape still on the emblem to allow it to stick to the ashtray OK - It easily comes off though if I just pull on it a little. I'm going to leave it like this for a few days to see how I like it, and if i decide to keep it there I'll probably get another piece of double sided tape to put on there to secure it down.

\ my glove box.. and i chose to scrape off the old tape and replace it with more (3m double side red tape-$5 wal mart) worked like a charm.
