smothing doors, Removing side Moulding/stips

Hey I have a black 300c, with tinted windows, upgraded gril, custom badges and upgraded to startech alloys. I am wanting smooth the doors on my 300c by removing the side strips/Mouldings but want to know how the strips are stuck to thecar, is there any holes in the side where they are stuck down like the back angle wing badge or are they just glued on?

Thanks for the help shane

spray wd-40 and let it soak. keep spraying and soaking. the longer it soaks the more tape comes off with the moulding. as you do 1 moulding spray all the others. keep repeating that process. each one will be easier. good luck. it will look great. mine does and it is black also.

Welcome to the forums Shane and that badge is also held on with the same 3M tape. If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to ask. Here is a thread that addresses removal of the badges. Hope it helps!

Shane,
I just heated it up and pulled it of... starting the removal with fishing line. Then put on goo-gone. Took me about 40 minutes to complete. Share some pics when you get done!
