when I talked to AVElectronics they suggested that if I I have Sirius that I should find the wires that go from the sirius receiver to the headunit.

So then I would run the audio from the sirius to the switch they sell when they mod, connect the audio from DVD, etc to it, and then the entire switch audio out goes to where the sirius out WAS going to.

I think they said thats what one person did

Been there done that.

If someone can tell me how to wire a switch inline with sirius input on the back of the radio to allow me to switch from Sirius to RCA input, I'll do it tonight. Pins 1 and 6 and the common ground. The wiring is easy, its the switch that has me confused.

I don't have the electronic know how though. Relay?

Wow I stand corrected, so they are basically bypassing everything and just overlaying the video on top of the current signal so it shows....very interesting..

OK I havent seen any of this stuff so Im throwing things out, but could you not tap the 1 and 6 on the c2 plug with a audio selector, one such as used on speaker selectors of possibly an inline one thats used to select microphones and have it switch in the signal from the alternate source

Well here is one way that it could probably be accompilshed but this is only going in not switchable...

http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...5Fid=42%2D2457

this could splice into the 1/6 on the c2 plug and the rca end go into a selector output then splice into the 6/12 on the satellite plug run this into an input on the selector and whatever else you wanted to...

Splicing in isn't the issue, its the switching process I don't know how to do. I'm going to place some calls today and find out what I can. In theory this should be easy as cake.
