Now it's getting rediculous!!!!!!!!

I've enjoyed being on this forum. Most of you were generous with your good wishes when I was down. I joined to hopefully learn from highly intelligent people(both men and women) not only about my C, but also general comraddery. I also thought that some of you could benefit from my expertise.
But now it's gone too far. On a previous thread I commented on Aspendog and Tommy Z's behalf. On the advise on HEMEE I put kevybear on my ignore list. "TommyZ" inspired grill installed >>>>
Then, I get a call from some black guy. After threatening my life I hung up on him. Apparently by opening up my personal life on this forum it has made me vunerable as his comments were of my heart and so forth. But the younger Wes could take this in stride. The older and wiser Wes cannot. I must remove myself from stressful situations and when I get a "I know where you live and gonna get those pretty girls" statements, it's too much.
If nothing can be done with these lunatics...I'm gone.

PS. I went on this forum to relieve stress, not add to it. I might as well go back to working 6 days a week.

EVERYONE - please contact your forum admin. to protest and request that Kevybear be banned! I guarantee no one would miss the likes of him, however this forum would not be the same without Wes. Here's the link:

If the likes of Liljohn can be banned simply for trolling and silly postings, certainly this man... and I do use that term loosely... should be banned for threatening a person's life and family. That's just plain lunacy!

The purpose for this forum is so you CAN post pics of mods...whether we like them or not. But when someone jumps off the forum and into my personal life, then it's going too far. Don't feel responsible Tommy, you just did what we all do everyday...post threads and comments. The difference is we are civil and respect peoples opinions. Not brag about themselves and threaten someone who doesn't agree with them.

3) realize that it is not his color but that he is just a very immature person.

I read the "flames" and that person(I will not mention his screen name) is ignorant(in a bad way), no matter his color!

As I have stated in past threads, its all about our cars and the fact that old/young, female/male and and persons off all persuations can enjoy this site and the fact that we have at least 1 thing in common.

Its a shame that we have to loose nice people that help out in this forum. I have been part of this forum for a few months and its been great. I would hate to loose it to a few ignorant poeple with no maners.

An advice to the moderator:

If you guys dont stop the people causing rokus around here, there is going to be no forum soon... I sugest a person that starts a war that starts disrespecting other members should be baned from here. We are all grown up here, (even thou it does not look like it), and we dont need to deal with the imature level of some of the members. There are teenagers in this forum that act better than some of the adults.

Linda, don't scare me like that!!! I opened up your link that you posted without really reading what you had said and saw my name and began to wonder what I had done.

I find this type of postings appalling and I have never stopped to question what a persons colour or race was or do I care as long as I can learn and sometimes give input, Wes, you've got lots of people here who are on your side so please ignore this jerk and lets get this person out of here.

Wes, been here a short time but have seen the contributions you make to the forum. I will give you some advice to take as you will and hopefully put some fuel in your fire if you decide to take this any furthur for prosecution.

Threats made via phone, email or in person to your life regardless of the intent is a felony crime. Notification of intent to file charges on someone that makes these threats does not need to be given to the person only filed.

Second, if you would like and I have no problem doing this as part of my daily job involves tracking people down. Feel free to send me whatever info you have on this guy phone number, real name etc and I will pass it on to some "higher up" people that can provide me with all the info you need from address, relatives, drivers license etc so that you will have some info to pass on to law enforcment.

Lastly, As I would not put to much emphasis on what someone says its always better to be safe than sorry. In these days and times its hard to judge who is full of hot air and who is actually going to do something. I would suggest at the very least you seek an protective order against this person so that if it does become anything more you have a record of this to help in the future.

Taking this to a personal level and making threats against someones life over ANYTHING posted as an opinion on a message board is rediculous and I feel for you but as with me I would rather spend the small monetary amount it requires to seek an injunction against this person and protect myself and my family than just risk it being someones bad temper.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help...

How could anyone possibly know if he was purple with pink polka dots... or you or me for that matter... why would we even care? There is a line that is never to be crossed, that line is family.
