Does Anyone have an install write-up for HIDs?

Has anyone who has installed H.I.D. lights done a step by step write up of the install? It seems easy, but I'm move of a visual person and the 10 step directions that came with my kit don't really help me out much. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a kit provided by Supporting Vendor Xenon Depot for the purposes of writing up clear, illustrated instructions, similar to what I did for install of the AEM BruteForce* CAI (see their forum). I've had the kit for less than a week, and just haven't had time (nor the weather cooperating) to do the work. Looks like weather isn't going to cooperate until maybe next week (unheated, detached garage).

HERMINIO is the only one I can recall that's done it. There's an excellent Tech post with pics of his retrofit here... http://www.300cforums.com/forums/faq...-retrofit.html

THX Rambit but I think he's referring to a non OEM HID kit.

I was referring to a non-oem install, but the pics were somewhat helpful. Do you have any more of how you installed the ballasts? Thanks.

No Top, those are the only ones. I exchanged the first retrofit with the OEM HID housings when they were available as seen on post #17 of that thread.

Later on I exchanged the projectors with Valeo's D2S ones with Philips Ultinon 6000K bulbs.

http://www.300cforums.com/forums/ext...Hid+Retrofi t

Some members did the non-OEM HID kit installation so they can help on ballast locations.
