I got 20's stock from Chrysler......

Alright, I'm sure many of you aren't going to believe me. If it didn't happen to me I wouldn't believe me either. But here's the deal: I bought my 300 in December. The dealer added what they called a 'dress up' package on it which included these 20's wrapped in Toyo Proxes and also included the Bentley grille. I had no idea that the dealership had either of these options as I definately did my homework before I settled on buying a 300. Anyway this 'option' added $3200 to the price of the car. I had been looking around to find out where hell this option came from and finally found the wheel package on the Wychoff and it sells for like $2400. Here is the description the Wychoff gives : MC2 Custom Alloys, Inc. is an O.E. and O.E.S. manufacturer of wheels and accessories. Our specialty is wheel and tire systems along with billet accessories, which are sold exclusively through the new car dealer. Here at MC2 our goal is to help the new car dealer put the customer enthusiasm and profit into selling customized vehicles. We have helped thousands of Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, Chrysler, Dodge, and Nissan dealerships across the U.S. to increase floor traffic and profit margins with our products. It is our mission to provide new car dealers with the best service, product and price.

Warranty - Our entire product line is put through rigorous testing to meet new car manufacturer standards to ensure that the products that we manufacture are perfect. We support our product 100% and put it in writing. All MC2 products come with a matching vehicle manufacturer's warranty(3 year/36,000 mile warranty).

Package includes:

4 - 20" Triple Chrome Plated "FZ7 Wheels"

4 - 255/45ZR20 Toyo Proxes Ultra High Performance tires

Center Caps Included

Theft Deterrent Lug Nuts

Mounted, Filled with Nitrogen and Road Force Balanced
either.

Anyway, now that I know that these are legit, I am confident to try them as 'STOCK' 20's. I'm trying to upgrade to 22's so if any of you 300 'purists' that want to stay stock with the wheels but are looking for a little bit morehit me up on a PM or my email MACHE275@aol.com. And if anyone has any input about this option please feel free to add comments. Because as far as I knew nobody even knew that these could be bought @ the dealership. Here's a pic from Wychoff. i'll try to get a pic of them on my car soon!

Its not a factory option. The dealer put them on. Any dealer can add items to the cars when they come in. Happens quite a bit.

yeah i guess 'factory' wasn't the right word choice. I guess I meant I didn't know that the dealer could add stuff like that.

Yeah, they can add what ever they want to it. (Unless of course you custom ordered a vehicle for yourself)

dealer "options" is another way for them to hide their markup prices. I bought my 300C with no markup, but the dealer added 20" option wheels to my 300C when it was delivered, guess what?? they also added $5600 to the price of the car. I told them I wasn't gonna pay the extra markup, because we have alreay agreed on the price of the vehicle. Salesmanager explained to me that the $5600 wasn't a markup, but it is the price for the "premium 20" wheels". I had my internet wireless laptop with me, to make the story short, found out the brand, did a search online, online shops were selling it RETAIL price $1400 with toyo tires. With the wholesale price, the dealer paid no more then $600 for them. After about 1hr of argueing with them, they agreed to put the stock wheels back on and agreed to the original price. As I was driving off, I can see that they were putting those 20"s on another 300C. Dealers are crooked, do your homework

Good point, Big hemi.

Also, never forget that they take your chrome clad stock 300c wheel, slap them on a touring or limited, then soak THAT purchaser for big $$ for the "upgrade."

I paid for my wheels, but was able to wrangle a substantial discount knowing that 1) the sticker price for the "deluxe" wheels is a ripoff and 2) they ALREADY made bank off the car by selling the original wheels to another customer.

Hey everyone, this seems a little childish but I figured I'd tell you all anyways. Anyway, I'm really trying to sell these wheels. And a guy on Ebay who I guess is also a member of 300cforums.com has a C was selling his sequence 22's. I had asked if he wanted to trade his for mine plus some extra cash. I told him that I got them when I bought the car and he basically said I was a liar. So I wrote him back and gave him the Wychoff site where the wheels can be bought and said I would show him my invoice as well. To make a long story short, he wrote back: "You sir, are ridiculous. THOSE ARE NOT STOCK WHEELS!!! Those are made by a
company called MC2ning. You can view them at http://www.mc2ning.com Your
dealership probably bought them and stuck them on your car for a profit. So
you got suckered. Those are $2400 ANYWHERE, if you paid more I feel sorry
for you, but do not make me feel like I did not do research. The mesh grill
you have also is not, nor ever will be a stock option. If you paid more
than $250 you were swindled again. I see you already got told this over on
the 300C Forums. Dont try and pull a fast one on me. You have already been
reported to eBay as well as the Moderator ekool on the 300Cforums.com If
your actions continue I will not rest until your accounts at both places
have been terminated. Live with the fact that you are a sucker and do not
try and pawn off your crappy aftermarket items on me".
I'm not really trying to start trouble here and if I have, I apologize. For one I didn't even harass this guy, I was just telling him that they were puchased with the car. Maybe I was naive and didn't know that everything off the showroom floor isn't considered 'factory' but thanks to you guys at this forum I now know. But in the end, I got the car with the wheels and the grille from the dealership. Even if they were considered aftermarket or not, they were added at the dealership and they still are backed by the same warranty as everything else on the car. I'm just afraid that this dude is going to get me booted off ebay and this forum for something that has been blown way out of proportion. So if a moderator can write me, I'd love to settle this little dispute if it is at all possible.

Word of advice, stay away from Sequence wheels. Do a search on this forum and you'll know what I mean.

Mache27, you haven't done anything wrong at all, IMO. Your wheels and tires are a factory sanctioned dealer upgrade, sold by most at about $2500.00, installed, balanced and guaranteed. Your grill would run $500-$600 installed, just about anywhere.

You are simply trying to put a deal together. Ignore this other guy and heed 300Con23s' advice about Sequence wheels, esp. the 22"s. You really need to research before purchasing and installing 22's on a 300, especially if your 300 is not a C. The C has larger brakes and stiffer springs.

There's lots of good info and help at this forum. Keep modding and enjoy your ride.

I know that I should just ignore this guy but he got a rise out of me when he siad that he reported me to the MOD here. Kinda made me mad. Nonetheless, karma will prevail and we all get on with our lives. Again, thanks for all your advise and I look forward to recieveing more.
