Cool Really want HIDs but so incredibly skeptical

I really want to add an HID kit to my car.. but im SO skeptical.. ive been hearing all these problems like FLICKERING and such... I already had problems with just adding an aftermarket bulb.. which was the same wattage as our factory.. but melted my headlight plug like 4 times!!!! so i went back to factory... Id love to get the HIDs but just sick of dealing with pestering problems... anybody have 100% success with an add-on? wud ya use? how expensive? thank ya!

Hey truthkid are they a straight plug and play or do you have to run a 12V source to the battery. Also can you still use the auto headlight feature or do you have to manually turn on off. Also did you use the factory lens or did you put in projector lights. Sorry for all the questions but this is my next mod and I too have had some concerns. One more where did you get them.

all the HID talk confuses me too
i already have factory HIDs in the headlights, but i wanna upgrade my fogs to 3000k yellow HID but i dont know which kit to go with that causes NO problems and has great light output too.

Hmm... I hope some vendors respond to this... do your auto headlights turn on the HIDs?
