Pics of Painted Parts

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to share some more pics of my car. I found some black chrome paint and had some left over color match paint, so I did a little more painting.

Color matched parts:
1. Center hub of my new wheels
2. B, C an D pillars
3. Sirrius Antena
4. Under Hood - Fuse box and strut cover I had already painted my engine cover

Black Chrome parts:
1. Chrome accents on front and back
2. Rear Wing
3. Door Handles
4. Side Mirrors

I also installed the new 300C aftermarket projector headlights with leds and Halos and rear spoiler.

Next up AFE Stage II CAI - Performance mods begin!

The color matched pillars look great! I'm surprised more people don't do the color matching instead of the chrome pillars.

The black up front makes it look mean as hell! Looks great!!!

Thanks everyone. I love the linen gold color, it's easy to keep clean and looks great, especially after detailing with Gary's products. I wanted to give my car a more aggresive/masculine look, which is why I went with black chrome accent pieces.

I made friends with a guy who has a body shop and we worked on my car together. It took us longer to tape up the car than the actual spraying. He did the black chrome pieces and I sprayed the color match pieces.

I was thinking of trying to open the head lamps and color match them too but after looking at them, I really liked the original black color. That and I wasn't too sure how the halos and led lights would take the heat of the oven.

One thing about these after market lights, I really like the projectors. They are easy to adjust and have a better more defined cut off than our stock projectors. One thing I don't like is that the high beam bulbs are a pain to remove, they are not the 9005 base. The high beam plug fits a plug that has two wires running to a base attached to the head lamp assembly. You remove the high beam light by openig some wire clips and unplug the bulb from this base. I'm going to remove them this weekend and hit the auto parts store to see if there are any bluer color high beam bulbs I can replace them with.

BTW, if anyone is interested in getting the black chrome paint:

HYPERBLACK PAINT
