Saturday is the day

Well, I've finally decided to stop being lazy and do it. Saturday I will be removing the side moulding from my car. I'm hoping that the Florida sun will do it's job and I won't have a hard time removing them. I'm also planning on removing the 300 touring badge on the back. Anyways, I had a question for you guys. I've got that ugly dealership sticker on the trunk. You know, the one that all the dealerships put on their cars that says the name of the place where you bought it. I want to remove it but am not sure how. On my old 95 Impala SS (may she rest in peace) I had a friend who works at a dealership use some chemical that they have. It took it right off with no effort. He no longer works there so that's not an option. Any suggestions on an easy removal?

Next on my list should be tinted tail lights and projector headlights with HID. Thanks to all of you guys on this board for sharing all of this information. I've learned a lot since I've started coming here.

Sounds like you have a busy Saturday! I just recently removed my dealer badge as well. You can use a heat gun as Dubster said but I also remember some members using a blowdryer, since they did not have a heatgun.
For mine I just put some goo-gone on and let it sit for a couple of minutes then took a plastic putty knife wrapped in a soft cloth(old t-shirt) so it wouldn't scratch my paint and slid it across. Once I got the edge of it up I just peeled it off with by hand. Then some more goo-gone to get the sticky stuff off and viola, done!

The car came out great guys! It looks better in person than all the pictures that I've seen on here. I'm so glad I did it; debadging and demoulding. Anyone debating whether or not to do it, I would highly reccommend it. I just have some lines left behind that, from reading on here, should be easy to get out. I know the rules so pictures will be coming soon. Thanks for all the info guys. Did I mention that I love the Florida sun? Left the car in the hot sun for a while, some wd-40 and a miniature crow bar wrapped in a microfibre cloth, it came right off. Then some goo-gone to get the little bit of tape left behind.

Thanks Sgt. Anyone with lines left after removal can try 3M finesse II machine polish. It took the lines right off easily. By the way, if you notice in one of the pics I am missing one of my chrome mirror covers. The thing fell off this morning somewhere along the way to the in-laws house. What do you guys think? Buy another set or take the one last chrome one off?
