any 1 install VIP roof spoiler

Did you just use 2 sided tape or is there something else you can use.

Hi, yes 2 sided tape and promoter, but it was too cold out when installed so soon will pull off and reposition and try again......BTW...at Spring Fest.. one member said he also had problems and now using Velcro.

Just installed mine today. Found that the contour of the base didn't match the window quite right so I took a grinder to it. After a bunch of test fits I think it fits a bit better. I tried using the stock double sided tape it came with and couldn't get it stuck real good. Just so happens I own a sign company, so I used some of our 3M VHB clear tape and a heat gun and installed it a second time after buffing the window to get all the hard water stains off. This time it stuck quite well. I didn't have much confidence in the tape it came with @ 100+mph. Good luck!
