The Long Awaited Pics

Working from home has it's benefits. I was able to wash/detail my car BEFORE I took pics of the tint. It was 11:15am CST, so you can imagine the position of the sun in the sky.

Close up of the rear window, you can still see through.

It's the PINNACLE 35. i don't know the exact percentatges but here is some info from the FO website:

with the low profile windows (at least that's what i call them) the effect of the tint is darker than i thought. i just drove around today in the sun and i'm very happy with the shade and what the 35 has done.

i'm trying my best to get that shot, but i waxed the car last week and i just washed it .

here is a shot of the side (with my lovely wife waving at you), with as much light as i can get behind it. i tried taking the same shot from the driver's side, but with the trees in my yard there was much shade, and the darkness of the windows was exagerrated. i could not see inside the car.

this angle is exaggerated as well. the windows are a touch darker than they appear in this photo.

by "full side" i don't know if you wanted a bumper to bumper shot. if so, i can go back out and take one. i focused on the windows since that's what this thread is discussing.

hmmm now I'm a little torn between 35 and 20... hopefully there will be both at the M&G on sat so I can look more in person.

Thanks for the pics, the car looks amazing bro.

"coming from you cpl, that means a lot"

had to throw a "more cowbell" line in there, it was begging for it.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet lookin pics! Its amazing how in some certain combination of angles & sunglight the tint appears to be see through and others it appears to be blacking everything out. That's the problem w/ tint pics

CplD: the best you can do is see 35% in person next to 20%, next to 15%, etc... Only then can you make your best decision. I don't believe you'd actually see any difference between metallic and ceramic.

Can't wait to see your car Sat. night Stealth. FYI: I'm jealous of your full grown trees! Although, I'm not jealous of all the leaves I'm sure you have to rake/mow!!! Tradeoffs I suppose
