Sweet... Thanks for taking the time to snap the pics and upload them. I've been waiting all day to see them since the firewall at my work blocks photobucket. I was beginning to think that the only surefire way to KILL a thread was to ask for some pictures to use as an example of the tint people have on their ride.

if anyone has doubts about paying this much for tint, don't.

I'm wondering what the advantages are over some of the other films that also come with a lifetime warranty. I don't have formula one on mine now (its SolarGard I think) and my previous ride had a Llumar film. Both had lifetime warranty, both were finished perfectly and looked great. Never had a problem at all. Is it a personal choice or are there some hard facts in support of the Formula film? Just wondering if I'm missing out.

the owner of the shop i worked with offered to explain all the differences in FO's products vs. the competition. i did not take him up on that since i had already decided to use FO. perhaps i should have so i could better answer this question for my forum buds.

i do notice that the optical clairty of the film (lack of distortion) versus other films is much better, nearing perfect. the true test of that will be in one year, three years, to see how the film holds up. i don't anticipate it to degrade.

T1000, one of the main differences between the Pinnacle series by Formula One and the competition is its ceramic tint. Guaranteed not to interfere w/ all the communications going in/out of the car (cell phone, FM/AM/Sat Radio, Navigation, etc...). I ended up w/ Llumar tint (metallic) and I've lost my AM radio. Not the end of the world, but I did listen to AM on occasion. Not anymore though. hehe

So combine that reason w/ the 'will not fade, bubble, etc...' lifetime guarantee and you got yourself a great product. I'm sure there are some other characteristics that make it better but those are the two that I know of. G'luck.

yeah, that too. probably the #1 reason i chose the Pinnacle line by Formula One. i did not want interference at all with my electronics....and they are working perfectly.

thanks tracy for mentioning this.

stealthsrt8,
Beautiful choice of tint, Your car looks awesome with the new Pinnacle Series. Mine has been on for almost 3 years without any deterioration. Sat./Nav. have never failed me with this ceramic tint.

Cpl.,
You probably weren’t aware of the ceramic tint on my C at SF. The car has 15% on all rear glass as well as the sunroof. The front passenger/driver windows are 35% and nothing on the windshield. In the attached photo, you can see a slight difference in the percentage from the front to back, You won’t regret it should you decide to go with the FormulaOne Pinnacle Series.

That is the perfect pic for me bruno, thanks! I'm def leaning towards 15% then.

Btw, shoot me a PM next week about the LEDs, in case you can't tell, I've been busy as hell the past 2 weeks
