Got some 22's

I had a set of 22's made for my car. They are a 22x9 one piece forged rim weight 30lb. I had Shorline Motoring do the install. These guys are outstanding, their knowledge and shop are top of the line. Since I had the rims made, the install took about 2 1/2 hours. First they removed the stock rims and tires. Then they checked and fitted every rim. The first tire I was going to use was the a 265/35/22, it was too big. Then we went to a 255/30/22 a little thinner than I wanted to go with. They checked every detail on each rim. When it was done they checked for rubbing, absolutely none. They take your car on what they call the "off road coarse". It's an angled drive way behind the building. They drive the car at every angle possible and check for rubbing. Their attention to detail was impressive. The ride is excellent, I'm actually surprised. I just took a drive to San Diego about 105 miles and it's great. Yes, the ride quality is affected but, minimal IMHO. I drive a pretty good commute and if I had to do it over again, I would. I don't have any picture because the weather turned ugly. Here is a pic we took yesterday on their web site. My car is the third pic.
Paul, Travis and Josh are true professionals.

When the weather clears up I'll post pic's of my car and the mods I've done. I also installed a Volant air intake system, incredible system.

fatchance,

Looks sweet! Isn't that Chip Foose's Tbird under your pic?

I just talked with Daniel at Volant about the differences in the 300C kit vs. the Magnum kit. The tube is different, so I need to wait for a few days to order it until they give the 300c Kit a new part #. Thanks for the info on it!

FC, that looks great! And 30lb per rim is amazing. That's the way to buy and fit oversized , IMO. Great shop with their careful fitment and attention to detail.

Enjoy!

Rogue
Pride is an understatement.
Before they started Travis explained in detail every step they had planned. When we ran into problems, they informed me right away and had options for me. These guys treated my car like on of their own. When Paul took it out for a test drive he said it was the best handling 300 or Magnum he had driven. All the other cars were running cast rims.

I'll be there on the 26th.

thanks everyone.

They're not available for about three more month. My car was the proto for the company. I went to the factory (Raceline)and had the car measured and fitted for the correct size. That particular style will not be available. Yes, they will ship out of state.
