Removed Emblem from Wing...Wing Off Car

i know, i know, it's easy to remove the emblem from a wing when it's NOT on the car. i thought i'd post some pics in anticipation of the BT emblem release. after doing this, imo, you should get a new wing, replace the emblem, then mount on the car.

so, i did my trademark "apollo 13 recreation", here we go:

front (notice the crack in the emblem, decided to take pics after i started for my forum buddies)

back (notice the alignment pins)

poking a hole through the double sided tape to "pop" the emblem out

emblem cracking in 1/2 from the enormous pressure i'm applying (not really)

1/2 emblem removed

other 1/2 removed

totally removed

double sided tape removed

two of our supporting vendors, wyckoff and moparsupercenter have the wings. p/n 4805988ab

might have a possible solution for that DUB, in the US we have this tool you can buy on tv for pulling dents yourself. it uses a suction cup, I think its called pops a dent or something like that. If you could get one, then use a heat gun on the emblem to soften the tape, then use this thing, it might come right out.
