Paint or Not

I need some opinions. I'm thinking of painting the black plastic around my fog lights the same color as the car. Also if I do paint them should I tape of the inside of the grooves on them so the recessed grooves are still black.

Sorry bout the bugs on the front end.

Before you do this, why not use photoshop and do a quick rendering by
putting the cool vanilla color where you want it?

This way, you can see what it will look like before you actually do any
painting!

The picture you have posted is nice and large, and you should be able to
get a few different photoshopped versions going. You could "paint" the
entire thing, or leave the back black as you suggested and then compare
the two, and see which one you like better.
