Question New Xenon 65W Fog Bulbs & Concerned about heat !

Hey all, I installed my 65 Watt Xenon 9005 (from xenonlightshid.com) fog bulbs in my 300C this afternoon & they look great. BUT, after turning them on and driving for a short while on an errand, I got out of the car and tried a "touch-test" on the exterior lens. It was definitely HOT to the touch. Now I understand that these are "only" 18 watts higher than the stock 9015's (47 watts), but I am somewhat concerned about heat buildup on the housing and subsequent melting or deterioration of the plastic in the housing. I must admit I have never done the "touch-test" after running my fog lights with the stock 9015 (47 watt) bulbs, so I am really guessing whether my concerns have any merit. Can some one run their fogs on a drive to where ever and do a touch test and reply to this thread as to whether the lens feels "hot" to the touch. Thanks, and all comments and advice are welcome.

Im running luminics 9005 65 watt bulbs and have no problem with overheating. It should be atleast warm but hot? Im not too sure. But i've had no problems with mine. I've heard a lot of other people running 65 watts bulbs with no problems so you should be ok.

Yeah, I've heard issues with people running 100W bulbs but nothing ever with 65W. I had them in for a while too with no problems until I upgraded to HID fogs, now they're just plain awesome!!!

Thumbs up 65w Xenon Fog Lights Pics

Here are 4 pics of my 65 Watt Xenon fog lights.
===================================

Below is 65w Xenon Fogs in Daylight

Below is 65w Xenon Fogs and 300C Stock Low beams in Daylight

Below is 65w Xenon Fogs at night

Below is 65w Xenon Fogs and 300C Stock Low beams at night.
NOTE: you can definitely see the yellow influence of the stock low beams
I might have to try a comparable Xenon Low beam bulb, but I don't want to loose any light distance penetration at night
due to known distance fade of higher K lighting. I am gonna ponder that for a while !
