Question New 300c owner...please help!!

I just traded my 2005 BMWi in for a slightly used 07' 300c. It only has 4k miles and I paid $26k. It's an AWD also. Carfax was negative. Got rid of the BMW because it was way to small inside. I got 3 kids and the 300c was perfect with the room in the rear and luxury in the front.Anyway, I already want to "fix-it up" just like most new car owners are anxious to do. I really need advice on particular parts so I can stay away from ruining my 300 with cheap and cheesy accessories.
The 300c is black with stock everything so far...I just ordered chrome door pillars last week. I'm searching for a grill. I know that any type is purely an individuals opinion, however since many of you own one...I need help.
1) black powder-coated metal or chrome? (does blacking out the grill look good?) Ebay carries alot of ABS type..is that good or not?
2) Ebay or my local store whom can install a chrome heavy duty mesh for just over $300?
3)Interior blue LED lights for the overhead and rear passenger. about $10 a set.
4)LED altezza black lights wich I can purchase for $130 on Ebay
5)K&N aircharger filter that guarantess a 23 HP increase for around $300.

These are just some of the minor mods. My last question is about the headlights. My BMW had HID lights. I dont know if this 300 does. Weird huh! It has the same type of lens ( that round glass ball looking headlight) that my beamer did, however it doesn't give off a bright white or blue. It's just yellow. I thought the headlight was HID. Do I have to change out the projector lens or just by a light bulb. I want it with a blueish tint.
That's all for know. I would really apreciate the help. This web site seems like the place to visit for the 300. Thanks.

Fifteen members will give you 10 different answers on the grill. IMO www.autolumination.com Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs bright white LED, I have them love them. You can do a forum search How-To: LED Interior bulb list and install guide I just bought K2 (supporting vendor) LED tails smoked they look great. They have chrome and black also. CAI lots of opinions on these also, but many members have AFE and Airhammer. You can put in a bluish light, but that is all it will be. Stealthauto and xenondepot (supporting vendors) have good deals on HID conversion kits. Hope that helps and welcome from San Diego. what part of the country are you in? Be sure to post pics

1. I have a black C with chrome grille and it looks great. However, I am thinking of getting a black one come spring time. If you're going for a luxury look, go chrome. If you're going for an aggressive look, go black. That's my opinion but in the end, I think it's going to come down to your personal preference and what you want to do.

2. I don't know where you should get it from. However, if you're halfway handy you can install the grille yourself.

3. Search on here for the DIY LED interior mod. I changed out every single interior bulb in my car and did the trunk and license plates too. It cost me a little over $100 (I think) and took an hour or so to do.

4. I have smoked LEDs purchased from K2 off of ebay.

5. Know nothing about.

It doesn't sound like your car has HIDs. Mine doesn't either and someone please correct me if I'm wrong since I don't know too much about it. To get HIDs, you need to install a new harness for them. I believe it's plug and play from the end of your existing harness. You can't just plug in HID bulbs into what you have. You can buy aftermarket halogen bulbs that will fit your current harness. My understanding is you can find halogen bulbs to match the color of HIDs but they won't match the performance/light output. I have Silverstar Ultras in my brights and low beams and regular silverstar in my fogs. They're definitely not yellow looking.

Good luck!!!!!!!
