Small scrates in chrome pillars..how do i get them out?

I have tiny surface scratches on one of my chrome pillars...is their anything that will take them away? A polish or something? The scratches are not deep.

i have a couple of scratches in the regular (not chrome) pillars. Any ideas on what to use on those - I have no idea what the pillar material is?

I have small scratches in the stick chrome too. I tried using mother's chrome polish and the small powerball but had no luck. I'm curious too.

i put pillars on my grandmother's cadillac and they've got scratches now too. i'm convinced its from her many rings dragging against the pillar for the driver's door. i havn't tried to fix it, but i'll reccomend some things. polishing compound, rubbing compound, or toothpaste.
