Question $200 for grill installment...yeah or nay?

I have an appointment with a local car accessory shop tomorrow. They will be installing a stainless steel mesh grill they are selling for $349. I can get the same grill on Ebay for $269, but this place doesn't install other vendor's grills. They are charging me $200 for the install. They say it will require 2 people and will take about 3-4hrs. I went to the Do-It-Yourself forum and it does look painfully time consuming and requires you to purchase a few tools and parts on your own. I got a couple questions...
1) Is $200 too much to pay for labor?
2) Does anyone know what the Chrysler Dealer will charge? (It's Sunday so they are closed).
3) Should I just buy the same one off of Ebay for $80 cheaper ($70 after shipping) and keep searching for someone to install?

Too much! I say get the one on ebay and give it a shot yourself. Even if you aren't handy the most it will take you is a few hours. Just invite some friends over, get a few beers and make a day out of it. You'll save $270! Get something else cool for that loot!

Run! Save your hard earned money! That price is outrageous for the install, especially after you purchased it from them at the inflated price.

My performance and accessory shop only charged me their labor rate of 1 hour for my mesh grille install. If I recall (3 years ago!), it was $75.00.

However, if you are handy with that kind of installation, then you can DIY since there are now several 'how-to' threads on this forum.

Good luck!

Save the money, buy the one on ebay and install it yourself. I have installed mine and it really isn't that hard. The only real tool you need is the screwdriver wrench and even then, if you cut the tabs off the factory grill, you don't even need that.
Give it a try... you can do it.

$200? They're on crack. Install it yourself or find someone to do it cheaper.

Can you get me one of these? I'd rather have the Chrysler emblem though. I'd prefer stainless cause most 300c owners say these are better. I know the ABS ones are pretty strong but they also have a " fake" look. See what you can do and you'll have a buyer!
