Chrome Pillars (Willmore or E&G)???

I'm gonna buy some chrome pillar appliques from Wycoff for my black 300C. The Willmore ones say they cover more area than the E&G. They are also about 20 bucks cheaper. Can anyone help me here? If they are better why are they cheaper? Also, any advice on applying them without screwing up would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Question, are they chrome? Most that I have heard of are Stainless Steel, so, I am just wondering.

here is an example of E&G chrome door pillars. Yes, they are actual mirror-shine chrome pieces, in my opinion very well done and cover as much as there is to cover.

hope that helps.

If you use some water and mild soap on the pillar (leaving the soap and water on) it will give you a few extra seconds to move the piece before it sticks on for good. This will work great and the piece will not fall off.

Any experience with wind noise? I have to presume that the more surface that's covered, the less noise that could be heard.
Thanks!
