Cool THE 300C IS INVINCIBLE (MY PROOF - "lil accident story")

So I live in Erie Pennsylvania... saturday afternoon we decide togoto the Seneca Casino in Salamanca New york (about 30 mins from Buffalo)... basically were coming back from the Casino, Im cruisin at about 85 mph (and anyone knows 85 in a 300... feels like your walking).... roads are clear everythings fine... starts gettin foggy and slushy rain in the matter of literally one minute.... down the road me and my friend see a car in the center of the medium all the way down in a ditch with his lights on, underneath the overpasss bridge..... not more than 50 feet after saying "holy ****... look at that car" my C starts coasting slightly sideways (rear kicking out to the left a lil) then traction control kicks in, and throws my car back on course, but the ESP kicked my car back so hard now the rear is kickin out to the right... so that like screwed me... next thing i know were flying straight off the side of the interstate at 85 MPH!... (*as if i were driving down the right lane and jus cocked my wheel to the right and made my car go off the highway at 85.... gettin the visual), i kick the wheel to the left, to try and get back on the road, we slide off, we start sliding completely sideways basically facing the highway, skidding down into a small shallow ditch, with little boulders, we stay sliding at 85 mph finally came to a stop.... needless to say im shaking get out of the car... THERES LIKE 4 LITTLE SCRATCHES.... and my underlighting kit got damaged.... me and my friend were holding for death basically, if i was in my montero sport still we woulda flipped over about 15 times like a video game.... it stayed solid, it stayed flat, and kept us safe, in a really potentially BAD circumstance...... now were down in this ditch with lightly snowed grass and mud on a hill..... YEAH RIGHT!... traction control or not, your not goin up a steep hill, half way in a ditch, in the snow, and mud, and rear wheel drive....Right? ......RIGHT!, so all you do is turn the traction control OFF!, i jus gun it... hell yeah, that thing screamed all the way to the highway, non snow tires... and were drivin home... with one of my under lighting tubes dragging... but hey, were safe, we ll be home in 20!

Me and my buddy keep goin....
dude... we almost died saturday... lol funny but not - jesus

its already being fixed for a hew hundred bucks.... coulda been a totalled C with 3,000 miles... (slowwwww down lol, i know, i know)

AND, i forgot, i ordered my tis 03 22's, they should be already on, But there running late so there not on yet... all i can say is THANK GOD!

MORAL OF THA STORY
damn.... i love this car

Not so laid back that day huh? I guess going over the embankment backwards must have kept your airbags from deploying too. Hope the guys that don't want to wear their seatbelts read this.... lennoxavesosa, you reading??

Talk about keepin' the rubber side down!

Now we know why the car has 9 computers. Thanks for sharing that scary tale, laidback.

Scary stuff, man what a car, glad you made it out OK. I wiped out on an icy bridge at 25mph and had to change my shorts I can't imagine what 85mph would be like.

Hemee, you can't be serious, someone on an enthusiast forum does'nt wear thier seat belt? That is an entire new thread that likely would generate all kinds of interesting and illogical responses.

Wait a minute, snow on the ground still?

I was swimming in my pool on Saturday (87 degrees!). What's wrong with you people!?! Move to Arizona where you only drive off the road when your retinas are burned through by the sun (which only happens two, maybe three times a year).
