Thanks for the pic. The arrow is pointing to the right area, but it’s not a bolt it’s more like an arm sticking (for lack of a better description) or at least it appears that way on the 300. It’s sticks out a couple of inches directly above the front wheels. Once again thanks for post that pic.

I remember seeing a bolt with nut. That was the first thing I checked out (wheel well) on the first 300C I came across. The section causes much problems with wheel/tire upgrades on the W210 Mercedes so I wanted to see how the LX chassis looked compared to the W210. They move the arm above the tire on LX instead of behind the tire on W210. The LX also differs - it uses a coil spring over Damper while the W210 has separate coil and damper.
