I like the rim/tire size combo, but not the actual style rim. Does anyone know when eibach will have a set of springs out, and also how was 50 cent's 300c dropped?

Yeah, how are people able to put on those massive wheels on? Stick your hand in between the wheel gap and you’ll see what I mean. Why would you engineer that way? I’m sure that 50 just had some shop do some custom work for his ride.

Although not my style, the 22’s look amazingly good on this car. Now I can definitely see the 300 riding on some 20’s.

yeah, that is what I was thinking (a shop cut his springs). I was just curious since tis made him custom rims first to showcase their product if a suspension company maybe did the same. thanks for the reply MOMO.

So, no one knows how to get around that big old thingamajig in between the wheel gap? That will obviously be a huge obstacle in regards to put on bigger wheels

Bigger wheels does not mean a taller tire to diminish wheel gap. When you upgrade wheels and tires you use a setup that is close to the same as the OEM tire height. The 300C tire is 28.6" tall using 225/60/18 tires. Doing a plus-1 (19"), plus-2 (20") or plus-4 (22")' you are supposed to maintain the same height of 28.6 or something very close to it.

The only way to get rid of that wheel gap will be shorter springs. We will have to wait for a sport suspension from Mopar and aftermarket lowering kits. They are coming.

I am looking into puting 22s on my 300C, and according to a couple of formulas i found online, a 22 inch rim with 265/35/22 tires (pirelli's) measures 29.27" tall. The biggest difference was factory width is 8.82" and the 22" setup is 10.39".

Again, i found these formulas online so Im not saying theyre 100% accurate.

Actually I was not referring to the wheel gap itself. I was referring to the suspension part that sticks out like a sore thumb. It protrudes directly form the lower part of suspension and ends just above the wheel itself. I hope that this clears things up.

This is what has me baffled as to how 50 cent had his 300c lowered. He probably had a shop do some custom work for his ride.

Can anyone take a pic of what I’m taking about and post it for us? Any takers.

MOMO, is this the suspension part you are referring to? I have seen that on a 300C. This photo is from my E55, however, that bolt is behind the tire on W210 E-Class cars and for Chrysler 300 LX chassis it is above the wheel. That bolt limits the front tire and wheel upgrades on the W210 E-Class. It causes tire rub when I changed my front wheel offset inward by only 4mm!
