Is my Grip Grille broken?

Just got my grill in the mail yesterday open up and tada i see a piece broken off. Is this part essential for it to be installed?

Not technically... when i went to take off my stock grill to paint 3 of the 8 screws were missing and it was still on TIGHT! IMPO i think you'll be ahight.

I think youll be ok...but if your unsure the guys at grip stand behind they're stuff 110%.Pm griptuning if you feel uncomfortable with it.Im sure they will make it right

I said the same thing when I got mine. But after a couple calls to them, they confirmed they are not necessary.
