Is tint even going to be worth it?

Fortunate enough to live in MN where the max is 50% all around. Will it even be worth it? Anyone have pictures of 50% tint?

TIA!

You can go lower. I drove around Apple Valley for 5 years in a 30% tinted all around Lincoln. Never stopped for it. I think you can easily go 35% and not get in trouble. You could easily pull off 40% for sure.

tint is a personal preference. 50% around is not doing much a lot of us run some type of illegal tint. i am personally going to run 20% all around the car. limo is too dark for me i have it on my truck and cant see at night to unsafe for me. 20% is what the factory tint is on most cars or SUVs. do a search for tint there 100's of tint threads.

I was curious. It seems almost every state but MN has at least a 35% limit. Go figure.

be glad you have a 50% limit. NJ allows no front window tint of any degree that doesnt come from the factory. of course people run tinted windows anyway, its just a gamble.

if they allow 50% and you put 35% on, im sure youll be okay, unless the cop at that time decides to break your balls about it, i dont know the visual difference from 50 to 35, but i would say its a fairly acceptable risk.

Overall, I would say yes, the tinting will be worth it, even if 50%.

Window tint serves a functional purpose and seems to enhance the overall appearance of most vehicles (if that's important to you).

Even at 50%, most tints will have a high UV protection and middle of the grade heat and glare rejection. Protecting your car's interior, your skin and eyes is definitely a plus, even with the 50%.

Good luck with your decision.
