NOOB grill question

I got the manual .... and the E&G manual printed out - my question is do I absolutely get the front bumper off? OR can I just stretch the grill a litte and pop it out with a ratcheting screw driver? This is a bolt on grill but goes in the place of the factory grill. Its the type from e-bay for about a 100.

That damn styrofoam is a pain in the a$$

LEt me know please... I am doing this right now ... thanks!!!

My mod shop actually installed my E & G Classic Grille without removing the front fascia. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the E & G directions show the install without removing the fascia .

Here is a DIY for removal though if you prefer to do it this way.

I changed mine without removing the front fascia.. And it was a PITA.. There are a few screws at the bottom of the grill that are very hard to remove with the fascia on .. Next time I will remove it.

i just installed my t-rex grill...if you do a search, you will find a picture tutorial...this helped me out alot..the front bumper is easy to take off...and my opinion, it would be alot easier to install your grill by removing the whole bumper...i wouldnt even attempt to try to install it without removing the bumper (unless you want a good learning experience of "what not to do")...have fun.
