Anybody try the Angel Eye headlights on eBay?

I'm talking about the ones that come preassembled as a whole headlight unit for $249 that are hid's with angel eyes. I'm thinking of getting them but I want to make sure they don't break down after 2 months.

If they are LED angel eyes (Halo's) you will have very dim eyes.. That's just the nature of the beast. If you want the best and brightest you will buy AAC CCFL Halo's, if you are aprehensive about tearing headlights apart (understandable) you can order a set of K2 Motorsport LED Halo's, but you get what you pay for. They will be dim! But it will be a simple plug and play install.

Jamalsmith,
Did you install them yourself? Is $149 for the hid's also? Any daytime pics?

leds

i didnt install them but you get to keep your old headlights and they are plug and play but some simple wiring has to be done and since i don't know to much about that stuff i had my people do it.

Also to address the previous comment they are bright and night not during the day like aac their lights are a little better but then if you want to destroy your lights feel free to do that i wouldnt suggest it what if you want to trade your car you lose your headlights you just $400 bucks on.

I spoke to aac today and they gave me the run down on them.

i attached a link to my earlier post where you can get them from for $149

see the picture for night driving

I've had headlight capsules apart before... It's not a complicated procedure, it's not brain surgeory that's for sure. And if you did the install yourself you could have AAC CCFL Halo's for $99

There is a company making CCFL's for the "Touring" or base model 300 and selling them on ebay reasonably cheap... But NO one is making premade CCFL headlights for the 300c as of this writing..

It's all in how much you want to spend or if you are willing to accept the comprimise for price.
