rusting aftermarket grill

I just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue? The winter is over and i have some rust spots and slight tarnishing on the grill. Any advise on how to remove it safely without damaging the paint. I thought about rubbing CLR on it and then washing the grill/front bumper. Please give me any input on what you would recommend. I might go to the company as they guarantee 2-3 years on the grill, but i want to see what I can try myself first.

Ouch! Sorry to hear of the issue. I'm try some CLR and see if that clears it up. If not, definitely contact the retailer.
