Grill Cover??

Hey guys this is my first post. Been coming here for a while now to get some idea's for my 300c and now I'm finally done with all my mods. Now here's my question, is there anyone that makes a cover to put over the grill. I have a grip grill and I'll be taking a trip to TN in a month or so and I dont want my grill all beat up by bugs cuz it's like an 8 hour drive. I'm already goin to buy a bra to put over it for the road but I need something to protect the grill. Lemme know if you guys have any ideas. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. Glad to hear you have found lots of ideas here.

You certainly can't cover up the grille in such a way that would prevent air flow into your engine/radiator area. However, you can use blue masking tape to mask off each vane and the surround of your Grip Grille. Once you arrive at your destination, the blue tape will easily pull off without leaving a sticky residue.

That might not be a bad idea bruno. I'll definatly look into, even if it makes my car look all weird with blue masking tape, haha. But hey whatever doesnt turn my grill into a speeding fly paper. And I think I'll pass on the spray paint idea there S&R

Just so you know, many LX owners who travel long distances in convoys such as to Meet & Greets or SEMA, often blue tape up the whole front of their vehicles, not just for insects but to prevent from paint chips caused by gravel, rock, sand, etc.

That would be nice to see your photo. Some people think it's going overboard but blue taping is a very inexpensive way to help protect your paint and grille.
