touring power side mirrors to 300c auto dim convesrion question?

So I had some jerk rip off the passenger side mirror. It was really just the body color cap off my touring 300 not the whole mirror. I bought a pair of 300c chrome mirrors on ebay for really cheap. The chrome mirrors have the turn signal and auto dim features on them. So, my dumb question is would those extra features work if I replace the basic power mirrors or is my best option just to pry off the chrome cap and stick it to the original mirrors? I am tempted to try the different mirrors but I am afraid of burning something out. Thanks for the suggestions!
