tint, wash, wax, sun = pictures

I was looking around trying to find a place that does a nice, clean tint job for cheap since I'm scraping my wallet by now.. most places wanted anywhere between $180-$250, and some people were willing to "hook it up" for $150 since I was on the LX forums...

So I'm in LA for the weekend, so did some quick googling last night before sleeping, and found a nice place called California Tint, which is located in Rosemead, CA. Most of the google searches took me back to BMW, Lexus, and other car forums, so I read and I liked.. Figured it was first come first serve, so I showed up at 8:45 (they were open at 9am). My car went in first, they started the prep work and everything at 9:10.. and I drove off the lot at 10:10.. so right about 1 hour work.. 2 guys.. and very, very, VERY clean results.. No bubbles, no spots, and they even went behind the 3rd brake light. Very professional, they actually work on 300/charger/magnum since they do work for the local dealership...all for $125 cash.. by the time I left, there were 8 more cars in line!

Anyways, a nice wash, some wax, and nice 83 degree weather so I had to snap some pics.

By the way, the tint is 23% all the way around (except for windshield- nothing there) and it is non-ceramic so it wont fu(k with the radio reception-which it hasnt! In some pics the tint will look darker than others, but thats just because of the angles and the fact that I have black interior.

Enough talk- here are the pics:

thinking of removing the eyelids:

And I saved the best (my favorite pic at least) for last. I think Ill submit this one for the cover of the next chrysler calendar!

Hope you enjoyed. And yes, the car is still for sale...

Looks great. I got my tint done at the same shop. I'm still very satisfied with their work.

Looks good. That is CHEAP for tint. I almost paid for triple for that and that was just to do my 4 doors.

The whip looks clean tough. I've got some nice weather here in North Carolina so I'm going to get on it tomorrow.
